Coordinated Benefits
One way that you may be able to lower the cost of your auto insurance is to coordinate the benefits you have with other insurance that you carry. For example, if you have medical or work loss benefits from your employer, you can choose to coordinate medical and work loss with your auto insurance.
What this basically means is that you choose to have the primary insurance in these areas to be covered by your work policy. The auto insurance in these areas will only kick in when the work policy benefits run out. Since this makes it much more likely that the auto insurance will not have to pay out for medical costs in the event of an accident, coordination your benefits can dramatically lower your rates you're charged by your auto insurance company where the benefits can be coordinated.
